Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,

Welcome to École Manachaban Middle School!

As the proud administrators of this exceptional school, we are delighted to extend a warm greeting to all our students, parents, and community members. École Manachaban Middle School is a dual-track institution offering both French Immersion and English language programs. In addition, we provide optional programming such as the grade 8 WILD (Wisdom, Inquiry, Learning, Doing) program, emphasizing outdoor learning, and a hockey program for students in grades 5-8, provided by P3 Sports.

Education is a collective journey, and at École Manachaban Middle School, we are dedicated to cultivating the potential within each student. Our mission is to instill a love for learning and prepare our students to thrive in an ever-changing world. To achieve this, we have developed a comprehensive School Education Plan (SEP) that outlines our goals, strategies, and the steps we will take to ensure the success of every student.

Central to our SEP is the recognition that education is not just about imparting knowledge but also about fostering critical thinking, creativity, and empathy. We are committed to providing a well-rounded and holistic educational experience that extends beyond the confines of the classroom.

At our school, we place a strong emphasis on strong parental involvement. We believe that the collaboration between school and home is crucial for the success of our students. We encourage parents to actively participate in their child's educational journey, and we welcome your ideas, input, questions, or concerns throughout the year.

Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in our focus on literacy and numeracy, ensuring that every student has a strong foundation in these fundamental skills. Citizenship is another key aspect of our educational approach, and we are proud to run a character education program that recognizes students displaying the characteristics of a Warrior: Worker, Attitude, Respectful, Reliable, Integrity, 100%, and Reliable.

Furthermore, we are dedicated to the overall well-being of our students, both physically and mentally. We understand the importance of promoting a caring and safe school environment that values each learner for who they are as individuals.
