Just a reminder: School doors are locked until 8:45am. Students will have 10 minutes to get ready for their first class and grab something from the Breakfast Program if they like. At 8:55 am they should be in their classes, ready to learn. If your child arrives after 8:55 am, they are late and will need to report to the office so their attendance can be updated.
Please feel free to call or come into the school if you have any questions or concerns!
Please check the school calendar on this website for all the happenings at Manachaban.

Ecole Manachaban Middle School is an allergy-aware school. We are sensitive to the needs of all students and staff with allergies. However, we cannot be absolutely certain that all food products brought into our lunch rooms or classrooms are free of potential allergens. While we make an effort to keep students and staff from being exposed to allergens, we cannot guarantee it will never occur.
Being Allergy Aware means we are:
If a student has a severe food allergy, it is strongly advised that the parents and/or guardians of the student contact the office at the beginning of the school year so that an alternative eating area can be provided. If your child carries an Epi-Pen, an up-to-date prescription and a signed medication administration authorization form should be submitted to the front office for emergency use.
]]>The safety, well-being and acceptance of all students is paramount at Rocky View Schools. In all our interactions, we work to ensure students have the understanding, skills and opportunities to contribute to welcoming, caring, and respectful, learning environments that respect diversity and nurture a sense of belonging and positive sense of self. To ensure that each and every student, including those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions, has the educational opportunities and supports needed to be successful in school, our Board endorses two administrative procedures that affirms the rights of each student – we invite you to become familiar with them:
AP 350 - Student Code of Conduct
Public education is a shared responsibility. With students, families, employees and our communities, we are working together every day to build positive learning environments for student success.
