A list of useful sites for both parents and students in Grade 5 French Immersion. Here you will find links to help with dictionary translations, conjugations and to help practice and reinforce some of the concepts we will cover in class. Don't forget to check in each of the subject areas (Les matières) for subject specific links.
- Word Reference
- An online French-English dictionary. A great tool as it provides multiple meanings of words and many words used in sentences as examples.
- Le bon patron
- An online tool to check French grammar.
- Le figaro fr conjugaison
- An online tool to conjugate French verbs which helps students conjugate appropriate tenses.
- QR Codes
- A free site to create your QR codes. Although there is an option, there IS NO NEED to create an account (not secure). You can simply use the site, download or copy and paste your QR codes into your documents.
- Copyright Free Pics - Great for Projects!
- Students can use this search engine to find pictures that they can print and/or use in their digital projects. These pictures are not tied to copyrights and are therefore legal to use.
