Lisa Trout

This year I will be teaching grade 5/6 French Immersion, Math, Science 5, Social 6, Art 5/6, Music 5/6 and Foods 7. I am originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where I attended both French immersion and Francophone school as a child. I have my Bachelors in Sociology and in Education with a specialization in French. I am currently taking my masters degree in education, researching mental health and wellness in schools. I have taught in Calgary, Whistler, Saskatoon, Thailand, Airdrie and Springbank. I have been with Rocky View School Division for 17 years. I am very passionate about teaching students about culture, food, language and our planet. It is important to me to ensure that the students in our classroom enjoy being there and are excited to come to school, every day. I love giving students the tools to use their imagination, pursue their interests and give them hope for the future. I am so happy to be teaching your child this year.
